Hello, my name is Chris Brokate.  I am owner and founder of Brokate Janitorial Service, founded in 1990 in Orange County, CA.  My biggest passion has always been the environment and being outdoors.  The hardest part of being in this business is seeing all the harsh chemicals going into our environment.  My first priority was to use and promote environmentally conscious products.  I have used Life Tree’s “Home Soap” since day one as my main cleaner; it works great on floors, counters, bathrooms, sinks etc.  I also use Bon-Ami, pumice stone and always-good ol’ elbow grease.

I have always kept my business small and local to reduce the amount of drive time and gas we use.  I offer affordable, reliable and honest cleaning services for commercial and professional office space, construction clean up, vacation and rental cleanings, interior painting, window washing, floors stripped and waxed; exterior cleaning, pressure washing and landscaping.  I live in Forestville, my service area includes Guerneville to Jenner, Sebastopol to Bodega Bay, Healdsburg to Rohnert Park and do not forget all those small towns in between.

In 2004 while working as a volunteer fire fighter, I was injured on duty and fell backwards injuring my neck and right shoulder.  After taking some time off to recuperate, I relocated my business and myself to Forestville in West Sonoma County

I believe in giving back to my community by volunteering in the area in which I live.  I currently volunteer for Riverkeepers in Guerneville, working on a future community park and nature center.  I encourage anyone interested to come down on Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 to find out more about volunteering. I also belong to the Russian River and Forestville Chamber’s of Commerce and volunteer as an Ambassador for the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce.
